General

Products in the online store can be purchased by private individuals, companies, and organizations. For underage customers, we require the guardian’s written consent (to be submitted by email), and a minor cannot pay on credit. Resellers have a separate online store at https://topaz.blue/.

The online store may unilaterally change the terms and conditions. Customers must review the terms before placing an order. Product images or colors shown on the website may differ slightly from reality due to technical reasons. In business-to-business contracts, the Finnish Sale of Goods Act applies alongside these terms, with exceptions as specified below. For non-consumer customers, ownership of products remains with the seller until the full purchase price has been paid.


Ordering

It is possible to place orders without registration. Ordering is done by adding products to the shopping cart. At checkout, you must provide your name, address, email, and phone number. You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate and complete. If you encounter issues when placing an order, customer service is happy to help.


Processing of Personal Data

Details regarding the processing of personal data can be found in the store’s privacy policy.


Registration

You can register by creating an account. To create an account, we require your name, email, and password. Registration speeds up the ordering process and makes it easier to modify orders and view your order history.


Products and Prices

Prices and product descriptions are displayed on the website. Prices include applicable VAT. Listed prices are valid until further notice or for the period indicated in the product information.

If an incorrect price deviates significantly from the actual price and the consumer customer should have understood it as an error, the incorrect price does not bind the store. For non-consumer customers, incorrect price information is not binding in any case.

The store has the right to review discounts or benefits if products are returned. In special discount campaigns, the use of discount codes may be limited to once per customer. Codes may only be used by registered/logged-in customers and cannot be combined. Free shipping applies only to domestic deliveries, excluding Åland.


Order Confirmation

A consumer customer will first receive an order confirmation acknowledging receipt of the order, including key details and information on withdrawal rights, procedures, and deadlines. After processing, a shipping confirmation will follow. If you notice errors in the confirmation, please contact us.

The store reserves the right to refuse orders for justified reasons. If we cannot confirm your order, we will notify you as soon as possible. For business and organizational customers, the store reserves the right to cancel orders without liability for damages.


Delivery Time

Delivery times depend on the chosen delivery method and product availability.

Orders are generally handed over to the carrier within 1–3 business days. During peak seasons, delivery times may be longer. Orders placed on business days before 10 a.m. are usually shipped the same day. Customers will be contacted in case of exceptional delays.


Delivery Method and Costs

Delivery methods and costs are displayed in the shopping cart once selected. Delivery costs include shipping and packaging. Pickup points usually store deliveries for 7 days from notification. Orders are available for pickup once the customer has received confirmation by text, email, or phone.


Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Notice of Withdrawal
Withdrawal is effected by submitting a notice of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods or the last batch of goods. The notice can be made using the withdrawal form or informally by email to asiakaspalvelu@saarentaika.com. If the last day of the withdrawal period falls on a Saturday or public holiday, the notice may be submitted the following working day. Simply failing to collect the goods does not constitute withdrawal and does not replace the notice. Business and organizational customers do not have the right of withdrawal. If such a customer wishes to negotiate the possibility, please contact asiakaspalvelu@saarentaika.com.

Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed products which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once the seal is broken or removed. This includes cosmetics, medicines, face masks, and products related to sexual health. The right of withdrawal also does not apply to custom-made or personalized products. Distance selling rules do not apply to everyday consumer goods (e.g., food, household chemicals, paper goods, daily cosmetics). Room fragrances may only be returned if the sticks have not been dipped in the liquid.

Returning Goods
Goods must be handed over to the carrier within 14 days of making the withdrawal notice. Customers are responsible for return costs.

Products must remain in essentially unchanged and undiminished condition to be eligible for a full refund. You may open the packaging to inspect the goods as in a physical store, but packaging is considered part of the product and must be handled carefully.

If the goods are used, you are liable for any reduction in value. If the goods are no longer in a resalable condition, the store may refuse a refund.

Return Instructions
Include order number, name, address, and phone number with the return. Pack carefully so that the goods do not move inside the box. It is recommended to request a receipt for the return. Failure to collect a delivery does not constitute withdrawal and does not replace a withdrawal notice. Uncollected orders are subject to a €15 fee. Cash-on-delivery returns are not accepted.


Refunds

Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice. The store may withhold repayment until the goods have been returned or until proof of return is provided. Shipping costs are refunded in full for complete returns but not for partial returns or for costs exceeding the cheapest standard delivery option. Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original transaction.


Liability for Defects and Complaints

If a product is lost, damaged in transport, incorrect, or otherwise defective, consumer customers should contact asiakaspalvelu@saarentaika.com without delay.

Business and organizational customers must submit complaints within 7 days of receiving the product by email to asiakaspalvelu@saarentaika.com and check deliveries upon arrival, noting any deficiencies on the delivery note.

Consumer customers may still invoke statutory defect rights after the 14-day withdrawal period. The store is responsible for handling defective products in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, including covering return shipping.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, consumers may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before doing so, consumers should contact consumer advisory services (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).


Limitation of Liability

The online store is not liable for indirect or consequential damages except as required by mandatory consumer protection or other applicable law. The store is not responsible for damages caused by force majeure.


Verification of Customer Reviews

When a customer purchases products, a feedback request may be sent. Customers can review their purchases, and reviews will be displayed with the reviewer’s first name and initial of the surname, along with the date and a “verified buyer” mark. This indicates that the review comes from an actual customer.
